Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the ShopShield prototype. ShopShield helps users review commercial subcontract language, organize deal history, and draft practical negotiation materials.
Prototype Service
ShopShield is provided as an early prototype. Features may change, outputs may be incomplete, and access may be limited or discontinued while we test the product with users.
No Legal Advice
ShopShield is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Outputs are business-review drafts and educational information. Have qualified construction counsel review important contract decisions and final language.
Your Uploaded Content
You keep ownership of contracts, messages, notes, files, feedback, and other content you upload or submit. You give ShopShield permission to host, copy, process, analyze, transform, display, and create outputs from that content so we can operate the service for you.
You also give ShopShield permission to use uploaded content, generated outputs, usage patterns, and feedback to maintain, test, evaluate, improve, and develop ShopShield and related contract-review tools. This includes creating aggregated or de-identified examples, benchmarks, prompts, evaluations, and product-quality reviews.
Do not upload content unless you have the right to share it with us for these purposes. Remove sensitive personal information where it is not needed for review.
Prototype Review Limit
Accounts may receive a limited number of prototype contract reviews. After that review checkpoint is reached, you may need to send feedback and contact us for continued access. We may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion.
Acceptable Use
Do not use ShopShield to break the law, upload content you are not allowed to share, attack the service, reverse engineer restricted parts of the service, or misrepresent generated drafts as legal advice.
Disclaimers and Limits
ShopShield is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the prototype.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the prototype changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
